Membership with Ghana ADR Hub means becoming part of a recognized community of professionals invested in the work of creating a Pan African Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution that provides reliable and integrity-driven alternative dispute resolution services in accordance with international best practices.

Student membership of the Ghana ADR Hub is open to persons who are studying in a higher educational institution, university or an equivalent institution and have an interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Qualification

No special qualification is needed to become a Student Member of the Ghana ADR Hub beyond proof of enrollment at an institution of higher learning, university or an equivalent institution.

Become an Associate Member of the Ghana ADR Hub

Associate Membership of the Ghana ADR Hub is open to persons who have completed the relevant Ghana ADR Hub course or have adequate proven study or certification in ADR at a level to qualify for membership.

Becoming an Associate Member of the Ghana ADR Hub provides benefits among which are:

  • Entry level professional certification in ADR
  • Special member discount on trainings and seminars
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Access to membership and shadowing opportunities

Qualification

To qualify to become an Associate Member of the Ghana ADR Hub requires one of the following:

  • Successful completion of the Ghana ADR Hub 40-hour Certificate Course in Arbitration or Mediation
  • An equivalent certification from a recognised training institution

Persons who are members in good standing of recognized professional bodies may be exempted from the need to have the 40-hour certificate course but will be expected to complete a three (3) day accelerated course. This level is an introductory certificate qualification that sets you off on your ADR career.

Fee

Associate Membership of the Ghana ADR Hub requires payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 500.00) per annum.

Become a Member of the Ghana ADR Hub

Membership of the Ghana ADR Hub is open to Associate Members who have completed relevant Ghana ADR Hub courses or non-members who have adequate, proven study or certification in ADR at a level to qualify for full membership.

Qualification

To qualify as a Member of the Ghana ADR Hub requires one of the following:

  • Associate Membership plus completion of any Ghana ADR Hub Advanced Training Course
  • An equivalent certification from a recognised training institution

Non-Associate Members who have relevant qualification and experience in Arbitration or Mediation can take an expedited path to become a member through accelerated training programs.

Fee

Membership of the Ghana ADR Hub requires payment of a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 1,000.00) per annum.

Become a Fellow of the Ghana ADR Hub

Fellows of the Ghana ADR Hub are Members who have continued along the routes of advancement of their chosen area of ADR, that is, mediation, domestic arbitration or international Arbitration.

Becoming a Fellow of the Ghana ADR Hub provides tremendous benefits among which are:

  • Recognition as a thought leader in the ADR profession
Qualification

To qualify as a Fellow of the Ghana ADR Hub the applicant:

  • Must be an existing Member of the Ghana ADR Hub
  • Must have completed the requisite approved Ghana ADR Hub courses for a specific ADR track (mediation, domestic arbitration or international arbitration)
  • Must pass all training modules related to conferment of Fellowship
  • Must demonstrate relevant experience by having represented clients or acted as a neutral in at least three (3) arbitrations or mediations
Fee

Fellowship of the Ghana ADR Hub requires payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 2,000.00) per annum.
